View a Service Type Definition Table

You may view details of service type definition tables in your facility.

Note: The table must be currently checked out to you. For instructions, refer to Check Out / Check In a Service Type Definition Table.

  1. Access the View Service Type Definition Table page.
    • Select Go To > Contract Loading > Service Type Table Management. The Service Type Definition Table Management page opens.
    • Click a link in the Service Type Definition Table column. The View Service Type Definition Table page opens.
  2. View the service type definition table data. Depending on the implementation stage, implementation status and active status of the table, some data may be unavailable for viewing.
  3. Click Analyze Table. The Service Type Definition Table Pre-Promotion Analysis (User Promotion) page opens. For more information, refer to Service Type Definition Table Pre-Promotion Analysis (User Promotion).
  4. Optionally, you may perform the following actions.
    • Click Promote Table to initiate the promotion process for the current service type definition table. Refer to Promote a Service Type Definition Table.
    • Click Delete Table to remove the current service type definition table from your facility.
    • Click Check Out/Check In Table to check the table out or in. Refer to Check Out / Check In a Service Type Definition Table for more information.
    • Click Copy Table to copy the current table to create a similar table with a new name. Refer to Copy a Service Type Definition Table for more information.
    • Click Update Table to update the table with the latest information.
    • Select an option from the Sort drop-down list to select the way you would like to view the results. Click Refresh View to update the list of service type definitions based on your Sort selection.
    • Click Import Definition to allow you to search existing service type definitions in other tables and add one or more to your service type definition table. Refer to Import a Service Type Definition for more information.
    • Click Add New Definition to provide space for you to add a service type definition from scratch. Refer to Add a New Service Type Definition for more information.

Activation Date

Date when the service type definition table is available for use in claims processing (repricing)

Active Status

Indicates the purpose and progress of the service type definition table

Definition Table Name

Name of the service type definition table

Effective Date

Date when the service type definition table is effective

Hide reduction expressions

Indicates if the complete details (days, charges, hours and units expressions) of the service type definition are hidden

Implementation Stage

Current implementation stage of the service type definition table

Implementation Status

Current implementation status of the service type definition table; progression within the current implementation stage

Location

Indicates whether the table is universal or facility-specific, which determines where the table is stored; if facility-specific, indicates the facility

Sort

Criteria by which your search results are sorted and displayed

Termination Date

Date when the service type definition table is terminated, no longer effective
