Browse-By-Coach
Browse-By-Coach allows you review existing Coach threads, post new questions, monitor the number of posted questions by your facility, and see the number of allowed questions for your facility.
Note: Your account must be configured to post questions. The number of questions your facility can post is contractual. Contact Client Support for inquiries about posting questions.
Steps
- Go to Browse in the Main Menu. The Browse tab opens.
- Click the Browse-by-Coach icon . The Browse panel opens with the Browse-By-Coach form expanded.
- In the Find field, enter a code or keyword. As you type the AutoComplete feature will display potential matches.
- Click the calendar icon to select a start and end date to search within.
- Select a Clinic Type.
- Click Submit. The results display in the adjacent Browse-By-Coach Results grid.

Note: Posters are either Knowledge Source users or FinThrive subject matter experts. Posts from users display as First Name and Last Name Initial. Posts from FinThrive subject matter experts display as FinThrive Colleague.
First Post
The date of the first post in the thread.
Last Poster
The latest user to post in the thread.
Note: Posters are either Knowledge Source users or FinThrive subject matter experts. Posts from users display as First Name and Last Name Initial. Posts from FinThrive subject matter experts display as FinThrive Colleague.
Latest Post
The date of the latest post in the thread.
- Click a hyperlinked subject to view the thread in a new tab.
- (Optional) Email or print the thread.

- Click Post a New Question. The form opens in a new window.
- Choose a question category: Physician/Professional or Hospital OP.
Select Physician/Professional if your question is related to coding or Medicare billing for physician or non-physician provider (NPP) professional services.
Select Hospital OP if your question is related to coding or Medicare billing for hospital outpatient services.
- Type a subject.
- Your name is auto-populated into the name field. If necessary, you can edit it.
- Select a Specialty.
- In Your Message/Question, enter or paste copied text into the blank field.

FinThrive Coach applies to billing and reimbursement questions related to:
Physician services paid under Medicare Physician Fee Schedule (MPFS)
Services paid under Outpatient Prospective Payment System (OPPS)
Laboratory services
OP rehabilitation (e.g., PT/OT/ST) and diagnostic outpatient services (e.g., mammography) paid under the Medicare Physician Fee Schedule
Durable Medical Equipment (DME)
End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) services non-recurring/unscheduled outpatient services)
FinThrive Coach does not apply to billing and reimbursement questions related to:
Inpatient services, any care-setting (acute, skilled, psych, rehab)
Ambulance/EMT services
Home Health
Hospice
Free-standing ASC (Ambulatory Surgery Center)
Non-Medicare payers
Coding therapeutic/diagnostic procedure reports (e.g. cardiac, interventional, surgical)
- Select Yes or No for I wish to be notified by email when someone responds to my message.
- Your email address is auto-populated.
- Click Submit.
- Click Close to close the window.
