Manage Issue Comments

You can manage issue comments for a set of issues using the Product Issue Comments and Facility Issue Comments page.

View or Add Product Issue Comments

Use the Product Issue Comments page to review the product issues and comments.

  1. Access the Product Issue Comments page.
    • Select Go To > Implementation > Issues > All Products Issues. The All Products Issues page opens.
    • Click a link in the Issue Description column. The Product Issue Comments page opens.
  2. Review the issue comments. Gray-shaded issues are hidden from the customer.
  3. If authorized, select Edit Comments to edit a comment. For more information, refer to Edit Product Issue Comments.
  4. If authorized, select the hide option.
  5. If the issue is resolved, select Set FinThrive as Resp., which assigns the issue to the 001 user code (This is a customer-only option).
  6. Optionally, add an issue comment. Depending on when you add the comment, it should indicate one of the following:
    • A clarification of the issue.
    • How you researched the issue.
    • How you applied the resolution.
    • Specifically how you followed up on the issue.
  7. When you are satisfied with the contract, select Approve Contract Profile.
  8. Optionally, click Reject Contract Profile to reject the profile. For more information, refer to Reject a Contract Profile.
  9. Optionally, click View Image to view a PDF image of the Master Document or Rate Schedule. For more information on viewing a PDF document file, refer to View the PDF Contract Image and Maintain Contract Images.
  10. Click Save Comment to record any entries or modifications to the Product Issue Comments page.

The current implementation status within a stage

When the issue was updated

Results Area

Author

User who typed the comment, identified by user ID

Entry Date

Date the comment was typed or last updated

Entry Time

Time of the entry

Hide

Drop-down list that allows the comment box to be hidden

Issue Comment

Existing comment about the issue, up to 254 characters, or “No comments exist for this issue”

New Comment Description

Space to type a new comment about the issue

Edit Product Issue Comments

Use the Product Issue Comment (Edit Mode) page to change the Hidden status of any product issue comment, or add a comment to an issue that is not closed.

  1. Access the Product Issue Comment (Edit Mode) page.
    • Select Go To > Implementation > Issues > All Products Issues. The All Products Issues page opens.
    • Click an issue in the Issue Description column. The Product Issue Comments page opens.
    • Click Edit Comments. The Product Issue Comments (Edit Mode) page opens.
  2. Add a new comment, if desired. For more information, refer to View or Add Product Issue Comments.
  3. Change the hidden status of one or more comments.
  4. Click Save Changes to save your changes. Alternately, click Exit Edit Mode to abandon the changes and return to the Product Issue Comments page.

View or Add Facility Level Issue Comments

The Facility Issue Comments page displays issues for the facility or group. Use this page to add or update facility issues.

Note: For more information on issues in a multi-facility organization, refer to Facility Issues.

Use this procedure to review facility level issues.

  1. Access the Facility Issue Comment (Edit Mode) page.
    • Select Go To > Implementation > Issues > Facility Level Issues. The Facility Level Issues page opens.
    • Click a link in the Issue Description column. The Facility Issue Comments page opens.
  2. Review the issues list.
    • Gray shaded issue comments are hidden from the customer.
    • A number in the Comm column indicates the number of comments on the issue.
    • FinThrive personnel see two numbers in the comments column: the number of hidden comments followed by the total number of comments.
  3. Optionally, change the issue status view.
  4. Optionally, change the Sort By option.
  5. If necessary, add an issue.

    Click Add Issue to display the Add Facility Level Issue page, where you can add an issue and set the issue properties (hide/unhide, responsible organization and priority). For more information, refer to Add or Update a Facility Level Issue.

  6. If necessary, update or close the issue.

    Click a number in the list to display the Update Facility Issue page, where you can update or close the issue. For more information, refer to Add or Update a Facility Level Issue

  7. If necessary, review the issue details.

    • Click an issue in the Issue Description column. The Facility Issue Comments page opens.

  3. Change the hidden status of one or more comments.
