Edit a Comment Flag
Some users include comments with an item to further explain or clarify the item. You can flag the comment to indicate what type of comment it is.
In some cases, the current comment flag should be re-assigned. The original comment might not be flagged correctly or perhaps the item itself has changed and should be labeled differently.
Note: Only FinThrive administrative users can edit comment flags.
Use this procedure to edit a comment flag assignment. For more information about the purpose of comment flags, refer to Comment Flags.

- Access the Edit Comment Flags page.
- Select Go To > Communication Log > View Item By ComLog ID. The View Item By ComLog ID page opens.
- Type the Item ID number and then click View Item. The Update Item page opens.
- Click Edit Comment Flags. The Edit Comment Flags page opens.
Note: Alternatively, you can access the Edit Flags page through the Communication Log Worklist.
- Re-assign any of the listed comment flags. Select a different flag from the drop-down for the comment(s) you want to modify.
- Click Update to save the changes to the item.

- Worklist Selection displays the Communication Log Worklist Selection page. For more information, refer to Specify Communication Log Criteria.
- My Worklist displays the Communication Log Worklist page. The worklist is generated based on the last criteria you submitted. If none exist, clicking the link displays the Communication Log Worklist Selection page.
- Add Item displays the Add Item page. For more information, refer to Add a Communication Item.
- Update Item # displays the Update Item page for the item you are viewing. For more information, refer to Update a Communication Item.
