Advanced Research Contract Profiles

The Advanced Contract Profile Research page lists the contract profiles for your facility and allows you to access the details for each profile. By default, this page displays all profiles for your facility, but you can modify the selection criteria to view specific profiles or types of profiles.

Use this procedure to perform advanced contract profile research.

  1. To access the Advanced Contract Profile Research page, select Go To > Contract Research > Advanced Contract Profile Research.
  2. Specify the selection criteria you want to use to narrow the list of profiles.
    • To limit the list to a specific profile, select the name of the profile from the Contract Profile list.
    • To limit the list to profiles for a specific payor code, type the payor code in the Payor Code field.
    • To limit the list to profiles of a specific status, select the check box for each status you want to display.
    • To show the name of the clearinghouse associated with the contract profile, when available, select the Show Clearinghouse check box.
  3. Click Refresh View. A list of contract profiles that meet your selection criteria appears.
  4. Review the list.
  5. To view the details of a contract profile, click the name of the profile in the Contract Profile Name column. The View Contract Profile page for the selected contract opens. For more information, refer to View a Contract Profile.

The following table describes each of the fields on the Advanced Contract Profile Research page.

Field

Description

A/R Cut-Over Date

Date for the contract when write-downs are first sent, if applicable for the facility

Activation Date

Date the contract was put into production or the date changes were made to a contract profile

Active Status

Status of the contract profile

Clearinghouse

The clearinghouse file source associated with the contract profile. The clearinghouse must be defined at the product level for this column to be populated.

Contract Profile

A list of contract profiles to select from

Contract Profile Name

Name of the contract profile selected

Effective Date

Effective date of the current contract rates

Facility Name

Abbreviated code for the facility

Implementation Stage

Current implementation stage of the contract profile

Implementation Status

Current implementation status of the contract profile

Payor Code

Payor code associated with the account

Production Date

Date when the contract is officially in production

Show Clearinghouse

Select this check box to display the associated clearinghouse for each contract profile. The clearinghouse must be defined at the product level for the Clearinghouse column to be populated.

Termination Date

Date the contract is no longer effective or is terminated
