Lookup Table Types

The four types of local or facility-specific lookup tables include the following:

• Procedure – defines or reimburses service types
• DRG Weight – reimburses service types with DRG codes; only for hospital services, typically inpatient
• Modifier – reimburses service types with modifiers; predominantly for professional services
• Provider Specialty Percentage – defines a reimbursement percentage for a specific provider type or provider specialty.
• CDM - allows you to upload or update your Charge Description Master (CDM) that you can then use when creating models.
• APC - allows you to upload or update Ambulatory Payment Classification (APC) tables to associate with contract profiles.
