Contract Profile Pre-Promotion Analysis

Use the Analyze Contract Profile page to determine what actions must be performed in order to successfully promote a contract profile.

  1. Access the Analyze Contract Profile page.
    • Select Go To > Contract Loading > Contract Profile Management. The Contract Profile Management page opens.
    • Right-click a link in the Contract Name column, and then select Analyze.

    Note: The right click feature is only available with IE 11, and may not work as expected with Chrome or Microsoft Edge browsers.

  2. Optionally, type an Activation Date.
  3. Select or clear the Prefer Unpromoted Local Service Types check box.
    • As part of the promotion process, the system validates all service types associated with the profile to ensure that each service type has a valid definition in production.
    • If you clear this check box, the system verifies that there are valid definitions in production. If valid definitions are found, the contract profile is promoted.
    • If you select this check box, the system verifies that there are valid definitions in production, but also confirms whether there are versions of these service type definition tables in an unpromoted status. If it finds unpromoted service type definition tables, the system notifies you of the tables that might need to be promoted and allows you to review them before promoting the contract profile.
    • This check box is selected by default.
  4. Click Analyze Profile. The results appear.
  5. Optionally, if the analysis fails, you may print the analysis report for reference as you correct any errors. Use the check box beside each error to indicate on the printed report that you resolved the error.

The following table describes the fields on the Analyze Contract Profile (User Promotion) page.

Date when the contract is available for use in claims processing (repricing)

Active Status

Indicates the purpose and progress of the contract profile

Contract Facility / Location

Facility or group of facilities in which the contract was created

Contract Name

Name of the contract profile

Effective Date

Effective date of the current contract rates

Impl. Stage

Current implementation stage of the contract profile

Impl. Status

Current implementation status of the contract profile; progression within the current implementation stage

Prefer Unpromoted Local Service Types

Clearing this check box verifies that there are valid definitions in production for each of the service types associated with the contract profile only.

 

Selecting this check box verifies that there are valid definitions in production and determines whether newer versions of the definitions exist in an unpromoted status that might need to be promoted before promoting this contract profile.

 

This check box is selected by default.

Termination Date

Date when the contract is no longer effective
