HCPCS Collection

The HCPCS collection lists code sets by topic in alphabetical order. The results display a hyperlinked code and description.

Access CPT^® Assistant volumes by year. CPT^® Assistant is an American Medical Association monthly publication that contains industry standards for current, past, and future CPT coding. These newsletters are helpful in a variety of coding scenarios such as: code validation, coding questions, denials appeals. There are also anatomical charts to help you better understand the circumstances for code use.

Steps

1. Select an ICD-9 chapter and click a diagnosis classification reference. A list of codes displays in the adjacent results panel.
2. Click a code to be navigated to the ICD-9 DX detail page.
3. In the icon bar, click to view ICD-10 crosswalk information.

Note: On October 1, 2015 the ICD-9 coding system was retired and the ICD-10 coding system became the current standard for diagnosis coding. Knowledge Source provides ICD-9 references in the event that you need to review them for historical purposes. Knowledge Source also provides an ICD-9 to ICD-10 crosswalk for each code.
