View a Lookup Table

1. Access the View Lookup Table page.
   • Select Go To > Contract Loading > Lookup Table Management. The Lookup Table Management page opens.
   • To reduce the number of listed tables, enter your selection criteria and click Refresh View.
   • Click a link in the Table Name column. The View Lookup Table page opens.
2. View the results.
   • For DRG lookup tables, the latest version of the DRG description displays on this page. To view descriptions for all versions, click a link in the DRG column.
   • For lookup tables with associated rate schedules, the rate schedule appears at the bottom of the page. For more information about modifying a rate schedule, refer to Add or Edit Schedule Data in a Table.

Note: During the CDM table import process, any special characters (“'\!@#$%^&*+={}[]|:;?`~") in the description column are replaced with a space and any description over 50 characters is truncated to 50 characters.

During the CDM table import process, it is important to note the following:

• Any special characters (“'\!@#$%^&*+={}[]|:;?`~") in the description column are replaced with a space

• Any description over 50 characters is truncated to 50 characters

• The following fields are used for Pricing Transparency requirements and not for Modeling CDM changes:

  • NDC Number - (optional/not a required field) Can be any number up to 11 digits, but do not include dashes “-“. If it is less than 11 digits, leading zeroes (0's) are added to the beginning of the number when imported.

  • Drug Unit of Measurement - (optional/not a required field) If the item or service is a drug, indicates the unit value that corresponds to the established standard charge.

  • Drug Type of Measurement - (optional/not a required field) The measurement type that corresponds to the established standard charge for drugs as defined by the NDC. The only applicable values are the following:

    • GR (grams)

    • ME (milligrams)

    • ML (milliliters)

    • UN (unit)

    • F2 (international unit)

    • EA (each)

    • GM (gram)

      Note: Only one value is accepted.

  • Standard Billing Units - (optional/not a required field) Some drugs have a standard number of billing units. For example, Drug A is billed 10 units as a base number of units. When a value is entered here, this value is used as the line item Unit instead of 1, when a pseudo claim is created for repricing.

  • Setting - (optional/not a required field) Options are IP, OP, or Both. Items with a setting of Both or are left Blank, are sent to the price transparency processing as both IP and OP claims and shown as two separate lines on the pricing transparency file. The only exception is for room and bed revenue codes 022 – 219, which are IP only.

• Lookup Table Management displays the Lookup Table Management page. For more information, refer to Manage Lookup Tables .
• Add Lookup Table displays the Add Lookup Table page. For more information, refer to Add a Lookup Table.
• Edit Schedule displays the Edit Schedule page. For more information, refer to Add or Edit Schedule Data in a Table.
• Import Schedule displays the Import Lookup Table Schedule page. For more information, refer to Add or Edit Schedule Data in a Table.
• Export Schedule displays the Export Lookup Table page. For more information, refer to Export a Lookup Table.
• View References displays the Contract Profile Definition Cross Reference page. For more information, refer to Select Lookup Tables for Contract Definition Cross References.
• View Tables With Same Name displays the Select Lookup Table page. For more information, refer to Select Service Type Definition Tables for Contract Definition Cross References
