- Access the Communication Log Worklist page.
- Select Go To > Communication Log > Worklist Selection. The Communication Log Selection page opens.
- Specify search criteria, and then click Get List. The Communication Log Worklist page opens.
- Review the worklist details.
- If you have access to more than one facility or group of facilities, you can choose to include the items from some or all of those facilities in the current Worklist.
- In Facility, choose the appropriate option—the current facility you are logged on (default), all facilities to which you have access, or a custom selection.
- If you choose Custom Selection the Select button appears. Click Select to specify the facilities you want to include in the Communication Log Worklist.
- In Sort, select the value(s) by which to sort the results. This affects only the sort order, not inclusion in the results.
- Once you choose the primary sort value, the page automatically displays a second option.
- The page continues to display a new sort option when you choose a sort value from the last field.
- Optionally, modify the Display options. Item details are shown by default.
- Click Refresh.
- Double-click an item or click the link in the No. column to access the Update Item page. For more information, refer to Update a Communication Item.
When you point to an item, the row background color changes to white. You can then double-click anywhere in that row to access the details of that item on the Update Item page.
- To export the Communication Worklist to a Microsoft Excel® or text file:
- Select either Microsoft Excel or Text File from the Export To list.
- Select Microsoft Excel to open Excel. You can then work with the data in Excel; for example, to move or delete columns, re-sort or re-format the data.
- Select Text File to save the data as plain text (with no formatting). Typically, you select this option if Excel is unavailable on your computer or you have Excel version’97 or older.
- Select the Include Header check box to include a header row in your exported file.
- Select Include References if you want to include the Communication Log references with the exported file.
- Click Export.
- Select either Microsoft Excel or Text File from the Export To list.
