Import Lookup Table Data from a FinThrive Descriptor Table

Use this procedure to import data from a FinThrive descriptor table into a facility level Procedure Lookup table. This option is not available for DRG Weight Lookup and Modifier Lookup tables.

  1. Access the Import Lookup Table page.
    • Select Go To > Contract Loading > Lookup Table Management. The Lookup Table Management page opens.
    • To reduce the number of listed tables, enter your selection criteria and click Refresh View.
    • Click a link in the Table Name column for a table checked out to you. The Edit Lookup Table page opens.
    • On the Edit Lookup Table page, click the Import Schedule link. The Import Lookup Table page opens.
  2. In Import Type, select FinThrive Descriptor Table.
  3. The FinThrive descriptor table is automatically chosen based on your lookup table’s code type. The descriptor table includes all valid codes for the code type.
    • Optionally, select Exclude codes in existing table.
    • This option allows you to import all the codes from a FinThrive descriptor table except for the codes that are already available in an existing table (that you select).
  4. If you selected Exclude codes in existing table, select the table settings of the existing table whose codes you want to exclude from the import.
  5. Optionally, select one or more Import Instructions.
  6. Optionally, specify a code range(s) in Code Filter.
    • If you select a Code Filter option and specify a range of codes, only the codes entered are available for import.
    • Code Filter options vary depending on the code type associated with your lookup table.

    7. Note: Ranges are not allowed for ICD-10 or Other codes.

  7. Click Import.
  8. Optionally, click Clear to return all the fields on the page to their default settings.
