Copy a Lookup Table

When you want to create a lookup table based on an existing one, you may copy it.

Note: Any ICD-10 Cluster information in the original lookup table is copied to the new table.

  1. Access the Copy Lookup Table page.
    • Select Go To > Contract Loading > Lookup Table Management. The Lookup Table Management page opens.
    • To reduce the number of listed tables, enter your selection criteria and click Refresh View.
    • Right-click a link in the Table Name column.
    • Click Copy. The Copy Lookup Table page opens.
  2. Specify the details for your lookup table copy.
    • Type a Table Name.
      • You cannot create a table with the same name and effective date of any lookup table in your facility.
      • If you create a procedure lookup table with the same name as an existing lookup table but different effective date, the new table is assigned the same code type as the original table.
      • Clicking Check Name compares the name you typed to the lookup tables in your facility or facility group and alerts you if there is a table with that name.

      Note: Refer to Standards for naming conventions.

    • Optionally, select an Effective Date range.

      • Note: The Effective Date fields are not available for all table types.

    • Select the Location.

      • Note: The Location field is not available for all table types.

  3. Click Copy.

Indicates whether the table is universal or facility-specific, which determines where the table is stored; if facility-specific, indicates the facility

Name of the destination lookup table

Location where the lookup table is stored

Procedure Type

For procedure lookup tables, the type of procedure included in the table
