Compare Audit and Production Reprices

Use this procedure to compare and view reprice information from audit mode and production mode for a specific account or group of accounts.

  1. To access the Audit/Production Comparison page, select Go To > Account Research > Audit vs. Production.
  2. Select a contract profile.
  3. Specify the selection criteria and click Display Accounts to view the comparison.
  4. View the comparison of the audit and production information.
  5. Optionally, you can perform the following actions:
    • Change the selection criteria and click Refresh View to modify your comparison.
    • Click a link in the Account No. column to view the Patient Account Audit page and details for that account.

The following table describes the fields on the Audit/Production Comparison page. For internal users only, the source information is given for some fields, in the format: “Table.Field.”

Contract Profile

Name of the contract profile selected

Date Type

Date type associated with the line item

End Date

Last date in the date range of the date type selected

Expected Payment Audit

Expected payment calculated in Audit mode

Expected Payment Prod.

Expected payment calculated in Production mode

Expected Payment Variance

Difference between total payments calculated in the prior reprice and current reprice

FinThrive Processing Date Audit

Date FinThrive processed the claim in Audit mode

FinThrive Processing Date Prod.

Date FinThrive processed the claim in Production mode

Sequential reference number of the line item

Select by Production Date

Check box option allowing you to search by production date. The returned results are based on the start and end dates entered, and include the latest FinThrive processing date for Production reprices completed for the selected contract profile. If this check box is not selected, the returned results include Audit reprice dates.

First date of service rendered to the patient

Service To

Last date of service rendered to the patient

Sort By

Order in which the results are sorted

Start Date

First date in the date range of the date type selected

Submission Date

Date the claim was submitted
