Compare Prior and Current Reprices

Use this procedure to compare and view results of a prior reprice and current reprice for a specific account or group of accounts.

Note: This page is shared with Contract Manager Professional.

  1. To access the Account Reprice Comparison page, select Go To > Account Research > Reprice Comparison.
  2. Select a contract profile from the Contract Profile drop down list.
  3. Specify the selection criteria.
  4. Click Display Accounts to view the comparison.
  5. View the comparison of the account reprice information.
  6. Optionally, you can perform the following actions:
    • Change the selection criteria and click Refresh View.
    • Click a link in the Account No. column to view the Patient Account Audit page and details for that account.
    • Click Reset to Defaults to reset to the default selection criteria values.

The following table describes the fields on the Account Reprice Comparison page. For internal users only, the source information is given for some fields, in the format: “Table.Field.” The URL for this page is comp_acct_reprice.asp.

Patient account number (for UB claims) or insured ID (for CMS-1500 claims)

Billed Charges Current

Total amount of charges calculated in the current reprice

Billed Charges Prior

Total amount of charges calculated in the prior reprice

Billed Charges Variance

Difference between total amount of charges calculated in the prior reprice and current reprice

Contract Profile

Name of the contract profile selected

Date Type

Date Type associated with the line item

End Date

Last date in the date range of the date type selected

Expected Payment Current

Expected payment calculated in the current reprice

Expected Payment Prior

Expected payment calculated in the prior reprice

Expected Payment Variance

Difference between expected payment calculated in the prior reprice and current reprice, in dollars

FinThrive Processing Date Current

Date FinThrive processed the claim for the current reprice

FinThrive Processing Date Prior

Date FinThrive processed the claim for the prior reprice
