Request a Model Document Execution
To generate information from your model, you can request different types of model document executions. In order to request an execution, your model document must be checked out to you, and it must have a name, a patient list, and at least one scenario.

- Access the Model Document Edit page.
- Select Go To > Contract Modeling > Model Document Management. The Model Document Management page opens.
- Click a link in the Model Document Name column. The Model Document Edit page opens.
- Click Request Execution (in the Model Actions section). The Execution Parameters appear.
Note: The Request Execution button is disabled when the reporting scenario has an anchor date defined outside of the effective date / termination date range for a pre-defined local Service Type Definition.
- Specify the execution details (in the Execution Parameters section).
- In Execution Mode, select the type of execution as it applies. All possible execution types are not available for every execution request.
- You cannot submit Check Patient List Query or Create Patient List execution modes for a hand-built list.
- When processing or excluding selected accounts, in Execution Data type the account number(s) you want to include in or exclude from the execution. Separate multiple items with semi-colons.
- Select the check boxes to select the type of data you want to include.
- If you select Reprice Detail, you will be prompted to enter a series of specific patient numbers, separated by a comma with no spaces; for example, 1234567,2345678. The use of a space or any other punctuation results in an error message when you click Submit Execution Request.
- If you select Outpatient Surgery (Summary) or Outpatient Surgery (Detail), a selection window opens that allows you to select the service types you want to include. To select a service type, click the service type in the Available Service Types list and click the down arrow to move it to the Selected Service Types list.
- Click Submit Execution Request.
- Click Execute (Distributed Modeling) to execute the model with most current modeling logic.
- Optionally, click Cancel Execution Request to delete any execution details you specified.
