Collections Tracking
You can track collections at both the invoice and the line item level. For selected invoices, you can record and research collection information in Contract Manager Professional. To begin, you must research invoices on the Invoice, Line Item, or Aggregate Worklists and find the invoices to which you want to add collection information. You then flag the invoices you want to mark for collection and add collection information in one of three ways:
- Apply the same collection information to all invoices or line items listed.
- Apply the same collection information to some of the invoices or line items listed.
- Apply unique collection information individually to any invoice or line item listed.
Once you have added and saved collection information for selected invoices, you can use the Collections Worklist to retrieve collection invoices more quickly. Only invoices with collection information are available for the Collections Worklist.
Note: Authorized users can also define collections workflow queries that automatically identify accounts that should be moved to Collections Tracking and apply collection information to those accounts. For more information, refer to Collections Workflow Builder.

There are two types of Collections Functional Security:
- Collections Functional Security allows access to the Collections tool and provides functionality to assign categories and subcategories of underpayments and / or denials.
- Collections Maintenance Functional Security allows access to the Collections Maintenance tool and provides the ability to maintain collections categories and subcategories.
