Replicate a Canary Claim
Canary claims are fictional claims assigned to a canary claim group you can select when creating a patient list for a model. These groups can then be shared across your organization so that users modeling claims are using the same groups of claims.
The Replicate Canary Claim page allows you to create 2 to 1000 claims that are all based on one specific canary claim to create larger volumes of claims for modeling purposes.

- Access the Modeling - Replicate Canary Claim page.
- Select Go To > Contract Modeling > Canary Claim Group Research. The Modeling - Canary Claim Group Research page opens.
- Click the name of the group you want to review in the Group column. The Modeling - Maintain Canary Claim Group page opens.
Note: You must select a canary claim group for which you are the group owner.
- Click Replicate in the Functions column for the claim you want to replicate. The Modeling - Replicate Canary Claim page opens.
- Type the number of claims you want to create in the Number to Replicate field.
- Click Request Replication.
Note: Clicking Request Replication does not create these claims immediately. Clicking this button places your job in a queue of jobs waiting to be processed. Once the job processes, the claims appear in your group. For more information about checking the status of your batch job status, refer to View Canary Job Status.
