Medical Necessity Edit Analyzer

The Medical Necessity Edit Analyzer report lets you compare the daily differences in LCD Policy information. You can search, view, analyze, and print new, deleted, and revised policy edits.

Steps

  1. Select a date range.

    Note: You can search by date range only. Click Submit after selecting the date range.

  2. If necessary, enter the policy LCD ID.

  3. If necessary, enter the CMS policy number.

  4. If necessary, select a change status.

  5. Click Submit. The results display in the Policy List.

  6. Click a policy to display details in the adjacent Policy Details panel.

Print or save one or more policies.

  1. Click one or more policies in the Policy List.

  2. Click Print.

  3. The Print Preview page opens in a new tab.

  4. Follow the prompts at the top of the page to print or save your document.
