Informants

Informants are newsletters sent out by FinThrive to inform subscribed users about important regulatory and compliance changes. Subscribers can opt in for information about one or both Medicare parts, or for information relating to specific departments or specialties.

There are two types of informants: General Informants or Interactive Informants.

  • General Informants are distributed in an e-mailed newsletter, in HTML or text-only format. Each is topic is clearly identified and addresses potentially affected departments, and contains hyperlinks or URLs to explanatory documents within FinThrive or to external Web sites. Text-only Informants contain URLs, while HTML Informants contain hyperlinks.
  • Interactive Informants contain the same features as General Informants, and additionally they permit recipients to immediately send feedback to your site’s administrator about the relevance, usefulness, and steps required to make changes based on the Informants content. This is a beneficial feature because it makes it easier for an administrator to track who receives communications and how they are used.
